About Bibiana

I'm a young Italian adult who has been living in the UK for the past 8 years. I made the move to Wales at the age of 14, attended boarding school, and graduated with the IB diploma. Following that, I pursued my studies at the University of Warwick, obtaining an Upper Second Class with a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in History of Art. Last year, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from BPP University and have been working as a junior paralegal in a law firm in London while finishing up my exams. As I am currently in the process of changing jobs, I find myself with some spare time. I really enjoy meeting new people, and I believe that this could be a fun and helpful activity to undertake.

About the lesson

Hello there, I would be thrilled to embark on this language-learning journey with you! To kick things off, I typically begin with an introductory lesson to understand your current level of proficiency. From there, I tailor my lessons to suit your needs and interests, incorporating a mix of reading, writing, and speaking exercises. Each session lasts about an hour even though this can be adapted to one's personal preference. If you have a specific focus in mind, whether it's mastering certain language aspects or exploring particular topics, I am more than happy to customise our lessons accordingly. Having previously taught Italian to individuals spanning various age groups, from children to adults, I am used to adapting to different learning levels. I've covered everything from the basics – like the alphabet, pronunciation, numbers, and basic sentences – to more advanced aspects such as engaging in fluent conversations and exploring themes of Italian literature and culture. I have gathered materials and exercises previously used that help me shape my lessons, providing a structured framework to these. As an Italian who grew up speaking the language, studied it throughout my life, and used it professionally, I'm confident I can help you learn Italian at different levels.
