About Zak
I am a student currently studying the Slade; the UK's most prestigious art school. In my spare time I enjoy sketching, reading, playing guitar and piano and hiking. I love tutoring as it gives me a way to share my love for the subjects I teach and to help out others.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and tailored to each student's individual needs. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence, while still making clear progress towards their goals. I try to give a holistic view of the subjects I teach and engage my students without losing sight of the specifics they need to know.
For GCSE English and History, I can help with understanding difficult topics, developing strong essay-writing skills, improving exam technique and preparing effectively for exams. I adapt lessons depending on what each student finds challenging, whether that's structuring an essay, analysing a source or a seemingly impossible topic.
