About Jack
Hi, I'm Jack! I am a First-Class MEng Chemical Engineering graduate with a strong academic background in Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I have always enjoyed these subjects and particularly like understanding how the theory can be applied to real-world problems through engineering.
I am passionate about helping students become more confident in subjects they may initially find difficult. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I aim to be patient, approachable and adaptable in my teaching.
Whether you need help understanding a particular topic, preparing for exams or aiming for a higher grade, I will work with you to identify areas for improvement and build your confidence along the way.

My approach is to make difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps. Lessons combine explanation, worked examples and exam-style questions, while adapting to the student's individual strengths and areas for improvement. I aim to build both understanding and confidence rather than relying purely on memorisation.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students. I can help with individual topics, homework, revision and exam preparation.
