About Becca

I've been singing since I could speak - music has always been my passion and my outlet. With over 8 years of experience teaching choir and a lifetime of vocal performance, I bring both technical skill and heartfelt enthusiasm to every lesson. I've helped students prepare for solo auditions, competitions, and college programs, and I've competed myself - from opera contests to American Idol! What truly drives me is helping others grow. I know what it's like to struggle in school - music theory didn't come easily to me at first. But through determination, I not only mastered it - I became a college music theory tutor to support others on their journey. That experience taught me how powerful the right guidance can be. My goal is to create a supportive, motivating space where you can find your voice, build your skills, and grow in confidence - whether you're a beginner or preparing for your next big audition. I'd be honored to be a part of your musical journey.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach:

My teaching is student-centered, combining strong vocal technique, musical expression, and confidence-building in every lesson. I tailor instruction based on each singer’s level, goals, and preferred genres.

Typical Lesson Plan:
Lessons usually begin with breathing and vocal warm-ups, followed by technical exercises (range, tone, support), and finish with repertoire work to apply skills musically. I incorporate music theory, sight-singing, and ear training as needed.

What Sets Me Apart:
With 8+ years of choral directing, a degree in Music Education, and experience as a college music theory tutor, I bring both classroom experience and individualized instruction. I’ve sung in multiple languages and genres, and I emphasize healthy, sustainable vocal production.

Who Lessons Are For:
I teach all voice levels—from beginners to advanced singers, including middle/high school students, college audition prep, and adult learners. I also offer music theory support for beginner and intermediate levels, and beginner piano for singers who want to strengthen their musicianship.
