About Wunmi
I am a friendly and patient English tutor who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have experience supporting children, including those with special needs, and I aim to create a calm and encouraging learning environment.
I believe children learn best when they feel supported and understood. I use simple, engaging methods and adapt each lesson to the child’s level, helping them build confidence step by step.
I want to make a positive impact while I teach, just as my own teachers did for me. My goal is to help each student grow in confidence, communication, and overall development.

I take a simple and supportive approach to teaching English, focusing on helping students feel confident and comfortable when speaking. My lessons are interactive and adapted to each student, using conversation practice, reading exercises, and vocabulary building. For younger learners, I include fun activities and repetition to help them learn naturally.
Each lesson is usually 50 to 60 minutes long, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I have experience working with children and beginners, especially in an ESL environment, so I understand how to explain things clearly and patiently.
My lessons are best suited for kids and beginner to lower-intermediate students who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation, and overall confidence in English.
