About Pamela
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to being a mom and foster mom, I have experience working with children in school and family support settings, and I enjoy helping kids feel successful in their learning. I am dependable, patient, and communicate clearly with both students and parents. I take tutoring seriously and come prepared to each session. My goal is to support your child’s growth while creating a positive and encouraging learning experience.

My lessons are supportive, patient, and tailored to each child’s needs. I focus on helping young readers build confidence while strengthening phonics, spelling, and comprehension skills. I believe children learn best when they feel encouraged and successful, so I create a calm and positive environment where mistakes are part of learning. With my background in elementary education and counseling studies, I understand how to meet children where they are and help them grow at their own pace. My goal is to help your child feel more confident and capable in reading.
