About Andrei
I am an experienced Flute teacher with more than 5 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute in a supportive and well-organised environment.
My tutoring method focuses on strong musical fundamentals. I train students in breath control, finger coordination, tone quality, rhythm, and musical expression. Lessons are planned carefully to ensure steady and confident progress.
I place high importance on communication and regular practice. I explain techniques clearly and demonstrate them when needed. Accountability is maintained through progress reviews and honest feedback. Integrity is central to my teaching approach.
In addition to flute training, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and performance preparation. I support students with exam preparation, auditions, and recitals.
My unique skill is motivating students to stay consistent while enjoying music. I create a positive and disciplined learning environment that encourages long-term growth.

My flute teaching methodology emphasises Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, providing a structured yet inspiring learning experience. I begin by assessing each student’s skill level, goals, and preferred learning style. Through clear communication, I teach essential techniques such as posture, breath control, fingering, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading. Students are encouraged to ask questions, actively participate, and reflect on their learning, building confidence and engagement.
Creativity is a key component of my approach. I motivate students to explore improvisation, develop unique interpretations of pieces, and experiment with melodies, fostering both technical proficiency and artistic expression. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to the student’s pace, progress, and challenges, providing a personalised and motivating learning experience.
Alongside flute instruction, I incorporate music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and ear training to develop well-rounded musicianship. My methodology ensures students achieve technical mastery, expressive performance skills, and confidence, while cultivating a lifelong love for music and a meaningful connection to their instrument.
