I am passionate about making learning accessible, engaging, and easier to understand for every student. My approach uses clear explanations and real-world examples to help you grasp new concepts and understand how they apply beyond the classroom. I am a university graduate and current trainee teacher with experience providing private tutoring and delivering subject-specific lessons to small groups of five students or fewer. My academic background has strengthened my literacy, communication, and analytical skills, while my teaching experience has helped me develop an approach that adapts to students’ individual learning needs. My approach focuses on building students’ confidence and understanding through clear explanations, guided practice, and engaging activities. I work with students to complete school-provided homework and assignments, identify areas for improvement, and reinforce key concepts. I also set extension tasks tailored to each student’s progress to challenge their understanding and encourage independent learning. Lessons typically last one hour, providing enough time to review previous learning, work through challenging concepts, and practise new skills through tailored activities and extension tasks. I offer Maths and English support for primary school pupils from Reception to Year 6, covering Key Stages 1 and 2. I am passionate about making learning accessible to children of different abilities and backgrounds, particularly children from Malayalee families who may benefit from additional support in their native language. My aim is to help every student develop their subject knowledge, confidence, and independence in a supportive learning environment.
