About Meritina
I am a friendly, patient and reliable tutor who is passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I have studied Maths and Biology throughout my education and I am currently studying Human Biology and Applied Science, allowing me to continue developing my knowledge in these subjects.
I am organised, approachable and committed to providing a professional and supportive learning environment. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I take the time to explain topics clearly and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions.
I aim to make every lesson productive and encouraging, helping students strengthen their understanding, develop confidence and make progress in their studies.

Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs and focuses on making difficult topics easier to understand. I use clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and interactive activities to reinforce learning. Lessons are usually 1 hour long and can focus on specific topics, homework, revision or exam preparation. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and work at a pace that suits them, helping them develop their knowledge, understanding and confidence.
