About Monika
I have been an ESL teacher and tutor for over 15 years. I have taught students from all corners of the world, at different ages, with different beliefs, different professions, different stages of life etc, and it has been one of the most interesting and rewarding experiences of my life. Every student has something of value to share, and watching these people progress positively in both their Ianguage skills and lives is a wonderful and fulfilling feeling. It is very unique and wonderful to be able to contribute to people’s accomplishments in this way.

My lessons are designed around the specific needs of the individual student. I focus on their primary goals for learning, as well as looking to improve their overall language skills. To accomplish this, I use various methods to keep the mind engaged and interested in the learning process, and to ensure the student becomes an active learner. I also use realia and show students how to apply their new knowledge in everyday life, which enables them to then learn more efficiently and independently.
Any difficulties the student may have in learning, are addressed accordingly so that obstacles can be avoided and learning be more successful.
