About Jay
Hello! My name is Chadwayne, and I’m a native English speaker from the beautiful island of Jamaica. Growing up in a bilingual environment where Patois and Standard English are spoken side by side, I quickly learned the power of communication and how language connects people from all walks of life. I’ve always been passionate about helping others express themselves clearly and confidently. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, classmates, and even coworkers improve their English — whether it was proofreading their writing, practicing pronunciation, or simply building their confidence through conversation. That’s when I realized: I really enjoy teaching, and I’m good at making people feel comfortable while they learn.
