About Maia
I am a writer and teacher who has spent the last ten years working in the theatre and film industry alongside tutoring. I am a born and bred North Londoner and live in Finsbury Park with my partner.
I truly believe that all students have the capacity to succeed academically beyond their expectations, and offering a calm, patient and supportive environment for them to thrive in is what motivates me to teach.

I have worked with children as young as 4, all the way to helping an 18 year old pupil secure a place at University. I absolutely love both my subjects, and have spent years passing on that love to all the wonderful students I have worked with. I am also experienced in teaching Classics, Theatre Studies, and all Primary entrance exams. Having secured my own place at a highly prestigious independent school through scholarship at the age of 11, I am well versed in the intricacies of the entrance process.
