About Seth

I am Seth, a very passionate student always looking to improve and expand my knowledge where possible and wanting to constantly challenge myself (explains why I'm doing a degree in philosophy). I want to teach and help you out as I want all my clients to succeed and get the best possible results using engaging techniques. I enjoy helping others understand difficult topics and giving people confidence to succeed. I’ve gone through the exams myself, so I understand the challenges and can guide students effectively. I hope that through tutoring, I can inspire students to enjoy learning and do their best in exams

As a current university student who has recently been through the process, I understand the pressure you're under and I'm here to help you succeed. I offer calm, friendly, and engaging online tutoring tailored to your specific needs. My goal is to build your confidence and provide you with the tools to excel in your humanities subjects. Subjects I Offer: GCSE: History & Religious Studies (RS) A-Level: Politics (UK & Global) A-Level: Religious Studies (RS) A-Level: History (specialising in The Cold War & The Tudors) My Tutoring Approach: Exam Technique Mastery: We will focus on deconstructing questions, structuring high-scoring answers, and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for. Engaging Content Retention: I use easy-to-follow methods to help you restore and recall key information without the stress, making learning enjoyable. Patient & Friendly Support: I provide a calm and supportive learning environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions and developing your ideas. About Me: Currently a first-year Philosophy student at Oxford Brookes University. I have recent, first-hand experience with the curriculum, achieving a B in A-Level History, Politics, and RS, alongside a 7 (Grade A) in GCSE RS. Passionate about humanities with a long-term interest in a teaching career. Previous experience working with and supporting students. Currently have one student doing GCSE RS and History. Fully DBS checked for your peace of mind. My sessions will last around an hour.
