I have played guitar for about 20 years, and have performed for others and recorded music for 15 of those years. I'm comfortable with various styles, including folk, pop, rock, acoustic, blues, reggae, country, alternative, and world music.

My name is Matt, and I live in Tucson, AZ, but I am available to give guitar lessons online to anyone, regardless of location. I am happy to work with students of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life, to teach them to play their favorite songs on guitar, and also to learn how to write their own music.
We'll start with discussing your goals for learning the guitar (just for fun, to perform for others, to join a band, for school, etc.). Then we'll map out a plan for how to get there. Learning the guitar is challenging, but if you put in consistent effort (even for just a few minutes every day), you will see results! It is very rewarding, and of course...fun!
