About Rosanna
I think the best teachers teach you not only their subject, but their enthusiasm for it too. I have a BA in Spanish and Portuguese and an MA in Translation. I've been fascinated by languages as long as I can remember and I find nothing more rewarding than learning and using the languages I speak. I'm an English native but I also live and breathe Spanish in my everyday life, have spent time living in Spain and attend regular meetups in Spanish. I've been teaching all my life in one way or another, and I feel like teaching has chased me more than I've chased it! I currently work full-time as an online EFL tutor and am now looking for students of Spanish and EFL both in person and online.

Having studied languages all my life I'm very aware of what makes language learning interesting and rewarding (and indeed what makes it really boring). Most importantly lessons need to be relevant to you, your life and your personal needs, so they will depend on what you're interested in and what you're trying to achieve. You also need to feel close to and in touch with the language and culture you're learning about. I use real life material wherever possible and also try to educate through speaking. Grammar is a must in any language in order to give you the building blocks you need to communicate - personally I love it, but I know many who believe it's boring, and so I strive to make it as engaging as possible.

I don't drive, so travel costs only apply to locations I cannot get to on foot!
