About Charlotte
I am a Native English speaker with a BA (Hons) in English and a passion for learning. I have an in depth knowledge of the core principles of both literature and language having studied both as part of my degree. After tutoring family friends, I am looking for new students to help through their GCSE and A-Level English learning.
I am passionate about enabling students to succeed and achieve their goals, by empowering them through clear and effective one-to-one lessons. I offer a variety of support, including simple help with homework and home-school activities, as well as more structured learning and exam preparation.
With a background in learning design and learning theory, as well as hands on voluntary experience with teaching English as a foreign language, I have gained a unique set of skills that make me an effective educator.
I believe in a truly personalised approach to learning and take time to get to know my pupils and understand the barriers they may be facing. I then provide creative and engaging facilitated learning in order to enhance their knowledge and confidence of the subject.
It brings me such joy to know that I can give others the tools they need to succeed, and hopefully inspire some more English Lit and Lang lovers along the way!
