About Alishbah
Hi, I'm Alishbah, a second year medical student at the University of Leeds with a passion for teaching and helping others reach their potential. I find tutoring incredibly rewarding, particularly when a student begins to understand a topic they previously found challenging and grows in confidence as a result!
Achievments:
GCSEs: 10 x 9s
A Level: A* Biology, A* Chemistry, A* Maths
UCAT: 2980
Alongside my studies, I enjoy working with students and adapting my teaching style to suit their individual needs. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment in every lesson.
I'm always up for a good chat, which helps me build positive relationships with my students and make lessons engaging as well as productive. I look forward to working with you soon!

I provide personalised support tailored to each student's needs, helping them build confidence through clear explanations and achievable steps. My focus is on developing a strong understanding of key concepts before moving on to exam-board-specific techniques, including exam questions, mark schemes, and effective exam strategies.
My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop lasting understanding, confidence, and effective study skills that will benefit them beyond their exams.
