Oral skills and speaking in french with the student would be a good way to improve their listening, oral skills and to embed grammar, getting the student to analyse their own work and if they need help with school french, we would look at the specifications together and find a suitable approach for the student in question, for example, make them revise the topics they struggle with by quizzing them, offer them answers to their questions and perhaps lead to them understanding something key in the topic, whether they struggle with vocabulary, pronouns, tenses or grammar
