About Joshua
Hi, I'm Josh and I've just completed my second year at Aston University studying social sciences applied to French and Spanish.
In April 2018 I spent time teaching English in a French primary school in Saint Etienne to French children. This is what ignited my interest in teaching languages and I've been tutoring on and off since then.
I also have classroom experience teaching French and Spanish in the UK as I used to volunteer at my high school in the language department as a languages assistant.

I always base language tuition on a theme: this could be a recent news event, something political, something related to an interest of the student or anything else. We'll discuss and explore these themes in the target language as to keep it interesting and diverse, incorporating new relevant vocabulary and grammatical constructions at a rate that won't be overwhelming. I can easily adapt my lesson plans to suit the age, abilities or learning styles of the student.
