About Sophia
I am a recent graduate with a bachelors in French. Because I am from Morocco, I had to thoroughly learn French grammar in school despite it being my second native language. This enables me to easily explain grammatical concepts as well as teach actual conversational French.
During my undergraduate years, I worked at the language center of the university for four years. I also tutored on the side students of various ages and levels, youngest being 8 years old and oldest being 73 years old.

I have taught different people of various levels, ages and backgrounds. Everyone is different and my teaching method changes accordingly. I understand that a monolingual will need a method that differs from the one a bilingual might need. I start by asking a few questions in order to get to know the student and come up with an approach that would suit them to make it easier and more enjoyable for them to learn.
