About Connor
I am originally from Minnesota, USA, but have been living in Winnipeg, Canada, since 2018, where I studied French and German at the university level before getting my Bachelor of Education. I have worked as a private tutor since 2017, and hold a certified teaching certificate, and have taught for a full year as a French teacher at the high school level. I am passionate about sharing the love of learning languages and encouraging a global mindset as you learn.

I believe learning French should be engaging and fun. I love to make grammar less intimidating and give varied exercises to help students practice. I adapt my lessons to their needs and encourage them to participate. I want them to become more independent. I correct common mistakes and try to make my classes interesting without needing a lot of additional materials. My goal is for my students to understand French well and enjoy learning it. I am qualified to teach French at any level, and have several years of experience.
