About Mia
Learning a new language is difficult and it can be frustrating. What I’m hoping is that I can show you that you probably know more than you think! About 33% of English comes directly from French after all! As always, if you ever have questions, please ask. I’m here to teach so I don’t want to lose you over something small that you never learned.

Hi! I took four years of French in high school and I’m currently minoring in French at ASU. Normally when tutoring I start the lesson with a small conversation tailored to the student’s ability level. Then we take a look at their homework so that I can help them practice the current topics they’re learning! I also try to leave the student with good study tips so that they can learn to learn on their own!

Mia is a great tutor! She helps with homework, while not just giving the answers. She has been helping me a ton this year! The best part is that she also helps with understanding notes! I think Mia is a wonder tutor!
