I am a native French speaker from Morocco with over seven years of teaching experience. My French lessons are interactive and student-centered, combining speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I use authentic materials, cultural activities, technology, and collaborative tasks to build language proficiency, confidence, and a deeper appreciation of Francophone cultures.
For beginner students, I focus on building vocabulary and confidence through comprehensible input and structured practice. For more advanced students, I emphasize conversation, critical thinking, authentic texts, current events, and cultural comparisons.
I also differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and use formative assessments regularly to monitor progress and adjust instruction. My goal is for students not only to learn French but also to develop an appreciation for the cultures of the Francophone world and feel comfortable using the language in meaningful situations."
