About Sophie

As a native French speaker with 25 years of experience in language education, I am now a full-time French teacher for both children and adults. My passion for teaching and sharing my culture began early and has only grown stronger over the years. I previously owned and operated a language school where I taught French, Spanish, and Mandarin to children as young as 18 months through to 12 years old.

My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of language learning and a genuine desire to help others succeed. I believe language is not just about vocabulary and grammar—it's about communication, connection, and understanding a new way of thinking. This is why I focus on pronunciation and practical use of language, tailoring each lesson to the individual’s needs and learning style.
