About Héloïse

Hello! My name is Héloïse and I am a 23 years old student at the University of Glasgow, in art history, postgraduate level. I come from Paris, where I studied both art history at the Ecole du Louvre and literature at the university of Nanterre (Paris X), where I was in a research master.
I am aiming to be an academic lecturer and researcher in French literature; therefore, teaching is my vocation. I am a very rigorous and serious hardworker, but I also think that learning should be done with great pleasure and interest. I will do my best so you can have fun while learning this beautiful language!

About the lesson

I am a French 23 years old student in literature and history of art, fond about languages. I already gave some little classes to children back in France, and really enjoyed it.
Because French is my native language and because I am studying literature as a speciality for more than 5 years now, I am experienced with the language's mechanisms. Therefore, I can help you to understand the French lessons you have at school, wether it is on vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, or understanding. I propose that we practice together, by doing your homework together or study together your week lessons.
I am aware that French is a demanding language ; consequently, I can also propose some "talking sessions" when we practice French speaking. I think a good methodology and rigour is very important, but I also think that a language has to be learn with pleasure: we could talk about French music, films, theatre, books, series, or any interest you might have!
If you need some help in French literature, I can also help you with your essays, or give you a little class on the subject you learn if needed.

The general lenght of a lesson is 1 hour, but this could be discussed depending on your level.
