About David
I love teaching; I love teaching languages; and even after many years, I derive genuine satisfaction from seeing my pupils develop and grow linguistically. I strongly feel that native English speakers are too often complacent, or reluctant to have a go. I have my own methods aimed at combating this, and I can point to a considerable record of success.

I am very experienced, having taught the French language at both ends of the school age range, as well as to adults. I tailor my methods and materials to suit the needs of the learners.
After forty years of classroom teaching (the last 34 of which as Head of a large Languages Department in a prestigious Central Scotland school), I have the experience, ability and enthusiasm to bring people to where they wish to be.
