About Wassilat

Hi! I’m Wassilat, a native French speaker currently living in London. I’ve been here for a year now, and one thing I’ve realised is that learning a language should never feel intimidating, it should be exciting, interactive and, most importantly, fun!

I’m a very positive, energetic and approachable person. I study Musical Theatre, so communication, creativity and confidence are a huge part of my everyday life. I’m naturally expressive and love helping people feel comfortable, which means you’ll never have to worry about making mistakes in my lessons.

With me, you won’t just learn French grammar and vocabulary—you’ll also discover the culture behind the language. We’ll talk about everyday expressions, French humour, music, films, literature, poetry, traditions and even the little habits that make French people… well, French! Understanding a language also means understanding the people who speak it.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to your pace, your interests and your goals. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, moving to France, travelling, or simply learning for fun, my goal is to help you build confidence while enjoying the process.

Learning French doesn’t have to be stressful. We’ll laugh, we’ll practise, we’ll make mistakes (because that’s how we improve!), and before you know it, you’ll be speaking French with confidence. I can’t wait to share a little piece of France with you!

About the lesson

I usually recommend 60-minute lessons, as it gives us enough time to practise speaking, improve your grammar and vocabulary, and build your confidence without feeling rushed. Every lesson is tailored to your level, your goals and your learning style, so no two lessons are exactly the same. And don’t worry, we’ll make mistakes together… they’re part of the learning process.

I am a native French speaker currently studying in London, which means I understand what it’s like to learn and use a language every day. I can help you improve your pronunciation, conversational skills, grammar and vocabulary while teaching you authentic French that people actually use—not just the phrases you find in textbooks.

I believe the best way to learn a language is to enjoy the journey. My lessons are friendly, relaxed and interactive, with lots of conversation, practical exercises and encouragement. Whether you’re learning French for school, work, travel or simply because you’ve always wanted to speak it, I’ll adapt every lesson to your needs and goals.

My aim is to help you feel confident speaking French from day one, in a positive environment where you never have to worry about making mistakes. We’ll celebrate every bit of progress together, and who knows—by the end, you might even start complaining about anything like a true French person!
