About Muriel

About Me Bonjour! My name is Muriel Grumet, and I’m a certified French teacher and native speaker with a passion for languages and education. Originally from Belgium and now based in Israel, I bring over 15 years of experience in teaching and communication. I hold a B.A. in French Language and Literature from Bar Ilan University and a Teacher's Diploma specializing in French instruction. My multilingual background — I speak French, Hebrew, and English — allows me to teach a wide variety of students and explain concepts clearly, no matter their native language. Over the years, I’ve taught: Teenagers preparing for school exams Adults learning for personal or professional reasons New immigrants who want to maintain or improve their French Students of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers What drives me most is helping my students gain confidence, speak fluently, and enjoy the journey of discovering a beautiful language and culture. About the lesson

My Approach as a French Tutor As a certified French teacher and native speaker, my mission is to make learning French both enjoyable and effective, tailored to each student’s goals, level, and pace. ‍ Teaching Method & Techniques I use a communicative and interactive approach, focusing on real-life situations and practical use of the language. Each lesson balances: Speaking and listening Grammar in context Vocabulary expansion Reading and writing skills I incorporate engaging materials such as articles, dialogues, videos, games, and personalized exercises. I also integrate cultural elements to help students understand the French way of thinking and speaking. Typical Lesson Plan Each lesson includes: Warm-up and revision of previous material Introduction of a new topic or skill (grammar point, theme, or vocabulary) Practice through conversation, listening, and reading exercises Short written or spoken task Feedback and Q&A Homework suggestions (optional, depending on the student) Lessons can be online or in-person, depending on the student’s location and preference. What Sets Me Apart I am a certified educator with a university degree in French and years of teaching experience. I speak Hebrew, English, and French, which allows me to explain complex grammar in your native language if needed. I adapt lessons to each student: whether you're a new immigrant, high school student, professional, or complete beginner, I make sure you feel comfortable and confident from day one.
