About Romy
My interest in French developed through a love of languages and cultural discovery. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages followed by a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students strengthen both their language abilities and cultural understanding.
I believe language learning should be engaging, practical, and encouraging. My teaching style focuses on helping students gain confidence while developing strong communication skills. I enjoy adapting lessons to meet the needs and ambitions of each learner.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, cinema, and cultural history. These interests allow me to bring authentic perspectives into the classroom. Helping students achieve fluency and confidence in French continues to be a deeply rewarding part of my work.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate clearly and naturally in a variety of situations. We work on grammar development, vocabulary building, pronunciation improvement, listening comprehension, reading practice, and conversational skills through engaging and structured activities. Every lesson is designed to make learning practical and enjoyable.
As students gain confidence, we explore more advanced topics such as idiomatic expressions, authentic texts, cultural discussions, and real-world communication scenarios. Interactive exercises encourage active participation and help learners apply their knowledge effectively. Lessons are tailored to suit individual goals and learning styles.
I create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing new skills. Confidence grows through regular use and supportive feedback. My goal is to help learners become capable French speakers who can communicate comfortably and accurately.
