About Arden
I hold a PhD in French Language Studies and have 11 years of teaching experience working with students from beginner to advanced levels. My interest in French began with a passion for languages and cultural understanding, which gradually developed into a strong teaching career.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and interactive learning. I explain grammar and language concepts in simple ways so students can understand and apply them confidently. I use conversations, structured exercises, and real-life examples to make learning practical and engaging. I also adapt my teaching methods based on each student’s pace and comfort level to ensure a supportive learning experience.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, films, and cultural topics to stay connected with the language. Teaching French is very fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and communication skills. Helping them express themselves clearly motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

Learning French becomes more effective when students focus on understanding how the language works in real conversations instead of memorizing grammar rules without context. My lessons are designed to build strong skills in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and listening through clear and structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand sentence formation, verb usage, and everyday expressions in a simple and practical way. I also include speaking and listening activities that help students feel comfortable using French in real-life situations. Each session is interactive and supportive, allowing students to practice freely and build confidence steadily.
I structure lessons based on each student’s level and goals to ensure steady progress and meaningful improvement. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentence construction. Intermediate learners work on grammar accuracy, reading comprehension, and conversation skills. Advanced students focus on fluent communication, complex expressions, and confident speaking. Practice exercises, speaking sessions, and regular feedback are included to strengthen understanding and performance.
French lessons also help students develop communication skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in expressing themselves. As they improve, they become more comfortable speaking and understanding the language in different contexts. Many learners enjoy exploring French culture along with language learning. My goal is to make French learning engaging, practical, and confidence-building.
