About Nicole
I have been a linguist all my life and I love the access to new experiences and cultures that language learning can give you. I am realistic about my students' time commitments and I help them to improve in the areas where they are struggling the most.
Confidence is of paramount importance in languages and I believe that helping my students to gain a thorough understanding of grammar gives them the confidence they need to express themselves accurately in the language. I have many tips and tricks for examination success that I have learnt over the years which can help even the most timid language learner to excel in examinations.

I am a specialist French and Spanish tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students from top UK prep and public schools. I have a strong academic background: I am a qualified lawyer and translator and I have a languages degree from the University of Oxford. I have tutored both online and in person for top London tutoring agencies and for many elite international clients with a great record of exam success for my students. I like to demystify the examination and revision process and use tutoring time efficiently to ensure that the student is able to boost their performance in languages without compromising the workload of other subjects.
I excel at preparing students for examinations by ensuring that they have a solid foundation in grammar and an understanding of examination requirements to empower them to achieve top grades. I focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing but I always approach the subject from a targeted exam-focussed perspective to ensure that my students are able to achieve entry to their desired schools and universities through enhanced examination performance.
I have a good knowledge of entry requirements for top UK senior schools and universities and I am able to help with the application process for these as well as to advise on any particular requirements for each.
