French for Adults: Expert 1-on-1 Online Teaching. Native-speaking teacher focusing on long-term results.

Super prof ! J’ai beaucoup progressé en français grâce à Nicolas, et j’espère continuer les cours avec lui !

I found Nicolas when I lived in London, and he began teaching me french and I was able to make so much progress. Now we do sessions online and Nico makes it so clear - he makes learning french so fun and relaxing - never any pressure, yet much progress is made! I love my online french classes with Nico and would highly recommend him.

Although the initial objective for my French learning is for use in a professional environment, learning with Nicolas has allowed me to learn about the culture that goes with the language.
Nicolas always manages to incorporate both day-to-day French and thematic work vocabularies into our conversations. The lessons are fluid and focus on understanding and context instead of just vocabulary, which I find very useful.

I have been taking online French lessons with Nicolas and would highly recommend him. After a long break from studying French, I wanted to start using the language again and improve my confidence in speaking. Nicolas has helped me do exactly that.
His lessons are engaging, well structured and tailored to my needs, with a good mix of grammar practice and conversation. He explains things clearly, is very patient and creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. I always look forward to our lessons and feel that I am making steady progress.

Nicolas is an incredible teacher! Both my husband and I have been taking courses with Nicolas for over a year now and he is truly the best of the best. He is incredibly skilled and intentional with the lessons he prepares. I really look forward to my classes each week and have seen a massive improvement in my French skills since working with him!

What makes Nicolas an exceptional language teacher is the attention he pays to his students' individual needs and proficiency levels, a prerequisite if a student is to make genuine progress. His teaching style is as far as you can get from someone who gives an initial test and then follows a pre-given formula, much of which may be irrelevant to the distinct needs of the student. I would highly recommend Nicolas to anyone serious about learning the French language.

I began taking French lessons with Nicolas after he was recommended to me by a colleague, and I have since gone on to recommend him to several others myself.

Nicolas is a patient and easy-going teacher who creates a relaxed and supportive learning environment. His teaching style is flexible and learner-focused, adapting each session to suit my needs and interests. This has allowed me to develop my French in a way that feels natural and authentic. I’ve seen genuine progress, not through pressure or rigid structure, but through enjoyable and engaging conversation.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicolas to anyone looking for a personalised, practical, and enjoyable way to learn French.

I highly recommend Nicolas. He is friendly, supportive and tailors his lessons to your specific situation. I’m making genuine progress and enjoying learning at the same time!

Nicolas has been my french tutor for several years. As I have needed to use French for my work, he has tailored my private lessons to improve my oral and written French for my work. He goes out of his way to search for relevant and interesting topics for my lessons which enriches my vocabulary and understanding of Francophone societies and culture. At the same time, we always review essential grammar points. I am grateful for finding such a wonderful and supportive teacher.

A very kind, helpful, friendly and professional teacher. I highly recommend Nicolas - he always has excellent materials prepared and a clear plan. He is very patient and cares about his students’ progress.
