About Odette

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Francophone Studies and have taught French for 5 years. My interest in the language began through a fascination with communication, literature, and cultural diversity. Teaching allows me to share that interest while helping students develop valuable language skills and confidence.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, clarity, and adaptability. Every learner approaches language differently, so I adjust lessons to match individual strengths and goals. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorization and develop genuine communication abilities through consistent practice and support.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French authors, learning about cultural traditions, and exploring language education methods. These interests help me bring variety and authenticity into lessons. I take great satisfaction in helping learners discover how rewarding and accessible French can be.

About the lesson

My French lessons focus on helping students use the language confidently in practical situations. We explore grammar foundations, sentence construction, vocabulary building, listening skills, pronunciation, and conversational techniques through clear and structured instruction. I break complex topics into simple steps so learners can develop strong foundations without feeling overwhelmed. Every lesson encourages active participation and steady progress.

I use visual aids, roleplays, cultural discussions, storytelling activities, and guided speaking exercises to make learning engaging. Students who are adapting to new environments or learning French for personal growth receive consistent support and encouragement. Lessons connect language learning with real-life situations to make communication feel more natural and useful.
