About James
Salut!
I'm James, a French-Australian having grown up in Paris.
I studied in French schools and later French Language & Literature for my International Baccalaureate (at higher level). Achieving along the way an excellent academic track record.
In terms of my experience, I taught conversational French to children in London aged 8 to 16. This included grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Catering to literature analysis for more experienced speakers is also something I am comfortable with and can offer.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students build confidence and communicate naturally in French. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, goals, and learning style, combining conversation practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and clear grammar explanations. I also use interactive exercises and real-life situations to make learning engaging and practical.
A typical lesson is online (Skype or Zoom) and lasts around 60 minutes. It usually includes learning new vocabulary or grammar, and speaking practice so students can actively use what they learn.
My lessons are suitable for young learners, beginners, and intermediate students who want to improve their speaking, listening, and overall confidence in French.
