About Karine
I was born in Charente-Maritime, in southwest France, near La Rochelle. I worked in Cognac for the famous Hennessy brandy company within the LVMH group of luxury products. My work involved introducing foreign dignitaries to French culture and the Hennessy tradition of excellence in my native French language. From there I moved to Ireland and subsequently here to New Zealand with my Kiwi husband and our 8-year-old son. I enjoy helping young learners embrace French and speak with confidence.

I teach beginners. The classes are for 1 hour, with a maximum of 6 children per class. I believe teaching through games is a good way to interest children. Children learn the basics, which makes them comfortable using a new language.

Perfect! Karine is a very patient and experienced tutor who took a pragmatic approach to the impossible task that I asked which was to help me learn a language in a very short amount of time. I appreciated the practical real-world exercises which were immediately useful.
