I have known Helen for more than 30 years. Helen speaks several languages and has lived in various parts of the world. She has worked as a teacher/tutor in different settings teaching languages to students from primary school age through to adults. She is friendly, approachable and conveys her passion for languages and learning through her teaching delivery.

I was first introduced to Helen in the summer of 2012 in Delhi, where she lived and worked. Though my English was reasonably good, it was a bit stilted. Colloquialisms and turns of phrase that define native speakers were mostly alien to me. Over the last thirteen years or so we kept up our correspondence, with a clear agenda to improve my language skills. I must admit that the present me is a far cry from the somewhat self-conscious, slightly halting speaker that I was. I would absolutely recommend Helen to anyone who is looking to develop their linguistic muscles.
