About Emma
I am a current MSc Science Media Production student at Imperial College, hand hold a BSc in Biomedical Sciences (Durham University, 1st) and a PhD in Molecular Biology (University of Cambridge). I am also a native French speaker, and completed my school education in Paris.
I tutored French and Sciences weekly throughout my PhD and worked as a volunteer science communicator at science museums and festivals across Cambridge.
Regarding my teaching style, I prefer to complement the student's school curriculum by going over lessons together and working our way through exercises, to help the student fully understand the core principles of each subject and see how they are practically applied. I promise to be very patient and kind, and always aim to provide a trusting environment in which the student can feel comfortable. I find teaching genuinely rewarding, and look forward to hearing from prospective students or parents about how we can work together.
