About Anna
I am in my final year of BA French and Politics, having just got back form a year teaching in France. I have lots of experience working with children, and am extremely passionate about education. I have worked with the charities Citywise and VSO to provide innovative forms of education for a range of recipients.
My experience has shown me the value of non-traditional teaching styles as a supplement for traditional education, and the importance of developing trust and fun in a learning environment.

I find that the best way to encourage confidence is to allow the student to lead, whilst I facilitate. I like to encourage oral processing of information, especially when studying a language. Participation and engagement are extremely important for the learning process, so I keep my activities diverse and dynamic. This being said, I am also able to assess a child's likes and dislikes, and strengths and weaknesses, and adapt my teaching style and level of structure to get the best results.
