About Mady
I'm a senior studying Chemical & Biological Engineering at CU Boulder. Like many, I initially struggled in some of my engineering and math coursework. I quickly realized I needed to adapt the way I studied. Now, I am on track to graduate with honors in a few short months! I love to teach students that may not be doing as well as they want to, just like I once was. I tutored students in Calculus and Chemistry last year (my junior year) and can't wait to teach and encourage more students! In my free time, I like to be outdoors, camping or skiing. I like to prepare and use examples in my teaching, guiding the student to the answer and ensuring they feel confident before moving on. As a student myself, I understand what skills will help you succeed and even excel in your coursework. I teach high school and college students Calculus, Pre-Calc, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering classes.
