About Viv
I have been tutoring 7-16 year olds online for 8 months and worked at Kumon for 3 years prior. I have extensive experience of teaching a range of subjects to all ages. I concentrate on making classes fun and engaging whilst ensuring the constant progression of my student's learning.
I received 3 A's at A level, in history, French and maths and have gone on to study history and French at the University of Exeter. Therefore, I have a deep understanding of each of the subjects and will be able to help you with any problems or difficulties you may have.
In my maths A level, I studied mechanics and statistics as well as core .
In history, I primarily studied: French history, Chinese capitalism, the Wars of the Roses, the unification of Spain, witchcraft, African American history, Britain in the 20th century, Germany during WWII and the Cuban Missile Crisis. However, I have also studied others and am more than happy to others specific to your course. In addition, I have lots of experience with writing essays and answering exam questions.

I will plan a range of activities suited to each student's age and ability. I will listen to their wishes and desired outcomes and work in a positive manner to help these be met. By marking answers with the student, I will be able to give positive feedback and aid them in working out why a mistake was made; thereby reducing the likelihood of the mistake reoccurring. Also, I will assign a short amount of homework after each session, and extra work if requested, to allow for long term learning.
By having a positive environment, learning will be accessible and fun!
