About Zoe
I am a freelance writer and actor.
I achieved a First Class BA Hons from the University of Surrey. Since graduating, I have worked as an actor and a writer.
Over the past year, I have created the resource 'Finding a Voice', in conjunction with Arts Council England and Suffolk County Council, which has been supplied to all state schools in Suffolk. This resource is an introduction to using personal narrative in teaching, and how creative writing can improve a child's confidence, communication, and emotional intelligence.
As a writer, I am supported by Arts Council England. My short play 'Unconscious Bias' will premiere at INK Festival 2021 as a headline piece alongside work by Miranda Hart and Will Gompertz. My short film 'Boadicea/Boudicca' has been produced by Hagstone Productions, and they have commissioned another short 'Pig'.
As a practitioner, I work as a Co Production Adviser, collecting young people's views on health services.

I am available to work with students from 6 - 18.
Each pupil is individual, and has individual needs. My goal with each student is the feeling of achievement. This can be at any level, and the key to this is inspiring someone to try, even when they feel they might fail. I work with a young person to ensure they are comfortable with the material we are engaging with. I will always encourage a student to bring their own likes, dislikes, and personal flair to their work.
When working with a child or young person I will often challenge them to think of:
- their critical judgment
- their ease of communication
- infusing their passion into their work
My specialisations are:
- English Literature A Level
- English Literature and Language GCSE
- Year 4 reading and writing
- Drama A Level exams
