About Megan
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and Communications with concentrations in journalism and literature. I did my work study as a tutor. I also considered becoming a lawyer so I studied subjects that could transfer well into that field, including debate and public speaking. As an author, I expect to begin public speaking engagements in the future. I currently substitute teach in a Montessori program.

I tutor high school and college students in language skills including writing, written and oral expression and reading comprehension remotely in the Triad region of North Carolina. I believe in the Socratic method as well for older students, with a focus on practice and practical conversation because with language skills, “if you don’t use it, you lose it,” so to speak; therefore, practice makes perfect.
