About Felicity

Hi, I’m Felicity. A native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English. My major is education and I enjoy teaching learners of all ages.

I recently started my own school in Town Hall “YesMandarin” – you can also find us on Google. Send me a message and we can organise a time that suits you to come to my school for a trial class and see how enjoyable learning Chinese can be.

About the lesson

Many learners find it difficult to choose the right materials, and many textbooks on the market are outdated and not aligned with how Mandarin is actually spoken today.

At YesMandarin, you will have practical materials combined with my own custom-designed PPTs, focusing on real-life expressions, natural sentence patterns, and engaging everyday Mandarin you can actually use.

Lessons are available in small adult group classes (2–3 students starts at 29 per hour ), private one-on-one sessions, as well as HSK exam preparation courses.

Perfect! Felicity is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient and professional. From the very first lesson, she carefully assessed my Chinese level and tailored a personalised program that works really well for me.

I highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Chinese at any level — from complete beginners to those who already have a foundation and want to improve further.

Aaron is a very motivated and respectful student. His background is ABC so can speaks a little Mandarin. He is willing to practise speaking even when the content is challenging.

To improve further, I would suggest he keeps reviewing vocabulary regularly between lessons and practises making longer sentences in real-life situations. Overall, a great student to teach. 加油！

Shane started with little to no Mandarin background, but he is genuinely passionate about learning Chinese. His girlfriend is Chinese, and his goal is to be able to communicate with her family, which is a really meaningful and impressive motivation.h
