France expert with great love of the language and culture

John is intelligent, thoughtful, reflective and kind and an excellent communicator.

He is a fluent French speaker who taught for a year in a French school and has visited France every year of his adult life. He worked in Paris every year until recently. He has an excellent knowledge of the French language as well as a very good understanding of French culture.

He has wide ranging cultural interests and an appreciation and understanding of human nature. He is interested in other people and is able to empathise with those in different circumstances to himself. As a father of children in the late teens and early 20s he understands how young people function.

I have known John for more than 10 years, initially as a personal friend and more recently as a colleague and fellow governor of Sheringham High School (which forms part of the North Norfolk Academy Trust chain of schools - of which I am a Trustee). I have the highest regard for John and would have no hestitation whatsoever in reccommending him both on a personal and a professional basis.
