About Shruti
Hi! I'm a fourth-year medical student with a passion for teaching and mentorship. From tutoring peers in high school to serving as a teaching assistant in college and mentoring students throughout medical school, helping others learn has been a defining part of my journey. Through eight years of rigorous higher education, I've developed a strong foundation in math and science, along with the study strategies and time management skills needed to succeed in challenging academic environments. I enjoy helping students build confidence, master difficult concepts, and achieve their goals. Whether you're looking for support in math, science, study skills, or college preparation, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to your individual needs.

My teaching approach is centered on understanding, not memorization. I break down complex math and science concepts into manageable steps and adapt lessons to each student's learning style. A typical session includes reviewing challenging material, working through practice problems together, and building study strategies that students can apply independently. What sets me apart is my experience succeeding through both college and medical school, which allows me to teach not only content mastery but also effective time management, test-taking skills, and study habits. I work with middle school, high school, and college students seeking support in math, science, academic success, and college preparation.
