About McKenna

I am a fourth-year U.S. medical student with experience mentoring and advising students throughout the pre-med and medical school journey. Having recently completed the MCAT, pre-clinical curriculum, clerkships, and board exams myself, I understand the challenges students face at each stage.

Throughout medical school, I significantly improved my own exam performance and developed effective study systems that emphasize understanding concepts, using high-yield resources, and studying efficiently. In addition to tutoring academic content, I enjoy helping students navigate medical school applications, career planning, research involvement, and long-term goal setting.

About the lesson

I believe academic success comes from having a clear strategy, not simply spending more hours studying. Many students work incredibly hard but struggle because they are using inefficient resources or study methods.

My goal is to help students focus on the highest-yield material, identify weaknesses early, and develop a personalized plan for success. Whether you are preparing for the MCAT, working through pre-med coursework, studying for Step 1 or Step 2, or seeking guidance on the medical school application process, I aim to provide practical advice, efficient study strategies, and individualized support.
