Hello,
My name is Ashley Brown and I am eager to teach younger students how to read! I am currently a fourth-year student in the BHSc (Hons) Kinesiology Program at Ontario Tech University. I aspire to become a high school science and physical education teacher in the future.

As a tutor, my goal is to advance reading skills and improve self-confidence. Based on the individual's needs, I will provide an appropriate lesson plan and guide the student throughout the session. The sessions will start at the individual's reading level and slowly progress once the student can read with confidence. As a student, I understand the challenges and feelings that arise with learning, reducing one's motivation to learn. I am here to teach, guide, support, and answer any questions the individual has while increasing motivation and self-confidence. The reading lessons are directed at younger students who need extra help to enhance their reading skills.
