About Joyce

Pleased to meet you! Dare to achieve more? I am an Oxbridge graduate with over 13 year's experience tutoring and mentoring students to achieve top grades at (I)GCSE and A levels to lay the academic foundations for applying to Oxford, Cambridge UK Russell Group and other world-class. Last year, 28 students on my academic mentoring syllabus achieved offers.

I am an educational social entrepreneur. I founded the Oxbridge Mentoring Scheme (OMS) in 2006 and I am Co-Founder and Trustee of charity Insight Outreach. My academic mentoring syllabus runs alongside schooling and prepares students for entry into Oxford and Cambridge universities. I have hit more than twice the average success rate for Oxbridge admissions, with all other students on my programmes securing places at top UK universities. For 10 years, I was school governor at one of England’s leading federation of academies where I helped set up a similar in-house scheme. I now extend the benefits of the OMS by running similar academic programmes in-house to schools in the UK, China and Africa by working online. I enjoy presenting my programmes to audiences round the world as key speaker through online presentations in English and Chinese, by aid of translator.

I operate in London and internationally (using online platforms) to provide students with tailored plans for entering their chosen schools, Oxbridge and/or Russell Group universities and (thereafter) careers. I am motivated by positively impacting lives, creating equality of opportunity and promoting social mobility.

Perfect! OXBRIDGE Admission
Great one to one tutoring. Joyce gave my son a mock Oxbridge interview with detailed feedback on areas for improvement. Her UCAS brainstorming approach immediately afterwards enabled a clear structure which helped him create a solid backbone for the personal statement and ensured that every sentence counted. Her advice on how he could use a mnemonic for structuring his essays has enabled him to prepare himself for the Cambridge pre-assessment written test. Joyce is a great mentor and ambitious for her students. I highly recommend her.
