I am a Foundation Phase teacher. I have taught English as a home language, Afrikaans as a second language and Mathematics to children in Grade 1 to Grade 3. I have 20 years experience and recently completed a TESOL course online.

My teaching method is student centred. Each child is different and our starting point is unique. I build on the knowledge they already have and enjoy a mixed approach of game-based, self-investigatory and demonstrating. Facilitating children to make connections using their own knowledge and experiences to develop further.
