About Carlos
My name is Carlos Jaime Jiménez. I'm a cuban, living in the US. I have solid experienceas a proffesor, having taught at the University of Havana for over 3 years. My fields of specialization include Spanish, Art History, Philosophy and Cultural Theory, which provides me with a holistic background in the area of Humanities. All of these themes and areas of knowledge can be incorporated into my classes, to a extent dependant on the interests of the student.

In my lessons I would teach Spanish language with and emphasis in communicative skills. I would also incorporate a background in hispanic culture and history , depending on the particular interests of the student. This method will provide the students with a set of tools not only useful to be able to speak Spanish, but also interact in a cultural, social or professional enviroment with a prominent hispanic representation.
